Located in King of Prussia, PA, the Airgas retail shop is currently hiring for a Local Delivery Driver position. This role is ideal for candidates who are committed to safe and dependable delivery services, as it involves handling compressed gas cylinders and delivering them to local and regional business partners. The driver operates company-provided straight or box trucks, ensuring the accurate flow of cylinders while building and maintaining lasting customer relationships. This position is Monday through Friday, day shift, offering a stable work schedule with quarterly bonus potential. The role requires careful handling of potentially hazardous materials, adherence to stringent safety and government regulations such as those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA, and the ability to accurately record all delivery related transactions. The position also demands physical abilities, including lifting from 25 up to more than 125 pounds with equipment assistance, and the flexibility to work independently under some pressure to meet deadlines. In addition to delivery duties, the role involves providing warehouse and dock support as needed.

Candidates must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License along with a Medical Examiner's Card and either hold or be willing to obtain a Hazmat Endorsement. A clean driving record with at least one year of recent professional Class B driving experience is required, or alternative qualifications including a diploma from an accredited driving school plus driving experience.
