Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A or B commercial driver license (CDL)
- HAZMAT endorsement
- Successful completion of background and motor vehicle check
- DOT clearinghouse verification from previous employers
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs and occasionally more than 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid Class A or B CDL
- Must have HAZMAT endorsement
- Successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check
- DOT clearinghouse verification from previous employers required
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs and occasionally lift more than 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Touch freight delivery experience preferred
Job Duties
- Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure satisfaction
- Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures
- Handle the loading and unloading of all materials
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections noting any issues to ensure safety compliance and vehicle condition
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company during deliveries
- Adhere to all hazardous material safety protocols and company policies
