The Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) position based in Bellmawr, NJ is an essential role within the company. As a Service and Delivery Professional at Airgas, you will be entrusted to safely and reliably deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business partners. Handling a company-provided straight or box truck from an Airgas branch or plant location, you will manage the flow of cylinders while fostering lasting relationships with customers during your deliveries. This role plays a crucial ambassadorial role in upholding Airgas’s commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

This position offers a competitive pay range of $32-$34 per hour with potential for quarterly bonuses. The work schedule is Monday through Friday on a day shift, ensuring a more predictable and balanced workweek. Delivering and picking up cylinders requires adherence to strict safety and compliance guidelines in accordance with Airgas’s SAFECOR standards and federal regulations such as DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA rules. This ensures safety both on the road and within the workplaces served.

The role also involves supporting warehouse operations as needed, providing additional flexibility and a team-oriented culture. An ideal candidate will have a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy weights up to and above 125 pounds using material handling equipment. Having or willingness to obtain a Hazmat endorsement and forklift certification is required. This position demands professionalism, responsibility, and independent work under time pressures to meet delivery deadlines.
