Job Requirements
- Must have one year of professional Class B driving experience within last five years
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Clean driving record with limited convictions and at-fault accidents
- Ability to lift heavy weights routinely and occasionally with equipment
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Ability to read and comprehend safety material data sheets
- Ability to operate safely under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain
- One year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last five years with a clean driving record or equivalent driving school diploma and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds routinely and occasionally lift more than 125 pounds with equipment
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours
- Ability to obtain forklift operator certification
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on load manifests and obtain customer signatures
- Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to Airgas safety standards and government regulations including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
