The position involves delivering products to various types of customers, including those in the foodservice industry. You will be responsible for driving the delivery vehicle and ensuring timely delivery of products to stores. In addition to transportation duties, this role requires active participation in the stocking and rotating of products on shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment. You will build small displays and set up promotional materials, such as pricing signs and banners, to enhance product visibility and support promotional campaigns. Daily administrative tasks include generating invoices and managing the daily settlement of cash and charges, requiring attention to detail and accuracy.

Physically, the role demands significant effort, including lifting cases weighing between 20 to 45 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, and occasionally pushing or pulling weights ranging from 40 to 150 pounds. The work also involves reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products within the store environment. You will unload pallets from the delivery vehicle using tools such as electronic pallet jacks or two-wheel hand trucks, and place products in designated areas within the store's backroom.

Primary accountabilities include delivering products and executing all promotional activities effectively. You will be expected to service all scheduled customers by the end of your shift, ensuring each customer receives full attention and support. Merchandising all accounts to meet local standards is critical, helping to maintain brand image and product appeal. Additionally, establishing positive and cooperative working relationships with primary contacts at each account is essential for service success and ongoing business partnerships.
