Job Description

PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) is a globally recognized leader in the food and beverage industry, known for its diverse portfolio of popular products and strong commitment to quality and innovation. As part of PepsiCo, PBNA operates with a focus on delivering exceptional consumer experiences through an extensive network of distribution and retail partnerships. The company prides itself on fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace where employees are encouraged to grow professionally while contributing to the brand's legacy of excellence. With its broad reach across North America, PBNA plays a crucial role in bringing some of the world's favorite beverage brands directly to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

The role of Relief Delivery Driver at PBNA offers a unique and dynamic opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being on the move. This position is designed to fill in for delivery drivers who are unavailable due to reasons such as vacation or illness, ensuring the continuity of product delivery services across various customer locations. As a Relief Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for following established or contingency routes that may vary daily, delivering products to a mix of convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores. Your role is essential in maintaining the supply chain's reliability, especially under fluctuating conditions and diverse weather environments.

In this physically demanding position, you will drive delivery vehicles to designated locations, unload products, and assist in bringing them into stores. Beyond delivery, the role involves stocking shelves, rotating products, and organizing displays and vending equipment to meet local standards. You will also be tasked with setting up promotional materials, including pricing signs and banners, to optimize product visibility and sales. Additionally, you will handle administrative duties such as generating invoices and settling daily cash and charge transactions at the end of your shift.

The Relief Delivery Driver position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Building positive relationships with store management and maintaining consistent, reliable attendance are key components of success in this role. Candidates must be prepared for the physical aspects of the job, including frequent lifting, loading, and maneuvering cases weighing between 20 to 45 pounds, as well as activities such as reaching, squatting, and bending while merchandising products.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.25, reflecting the demanding nature of the job and the responsibility carried by the driver to keep the supply chain running smoothly. Applicants should have a valid U.S. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate status, pass necessary drug tests and physical assessments, and possess effective communication skills in English.

Joining PBNA as a Relief Delivery Driver means becoming part of a respected company that values diversity, inclusivity, and safety. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities, considering qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability. The role also involves compliance with legal requirements for background screening and drug testing to ensure a safe working environment for all.

If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding career that combines driving, customer interaction, and merchandising in a reputable organization, this role at PBNA is an excellent fit. You will gain valuable hands-on experience operating delivery trucks, managing inventory on retail shelves, and contributing directly to the success of one of the world’s leading beverage companies.
