The Relief Driver position at PBNA is an exciting full-time role, paying a starting wage of $22.90 per hour, with an increase up to $29.20 after 45 days based on performance and adherence to role responsibilities. This position fills in for regular delivery drivers who are temporarily unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other reasons. The Relief Driver must be flexible, capable of working a variable schedule including Saturdays, and ready to take on different delivery routes that may change daily. The schedule includes five 8-hour days with available overtime, maintaining a full-time 40+ hours per week workload with weekly paychecks.

Relief Drivers deliver products to a variety of retail accounts, including convenience stores, gas stations, supermarkets, and drug stores. The role involves driving routes assigned by dynamic dispatch or established routes, unloading product deliveries, and merchandising items in locations. Duties extend beyond just delivery, encompassing the stocking and rotation of products on shelves, setting up promotional displays and signage, and maintaining product presentation to meet local standards. Drivers interact regularly with store management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

This role is physically demanding and requires extensive lifting of cases weighing 20 to 45 pounds multiple times throughout the day, along with activities such as bending, reaching, squatting, loading, and pushing and pulling product cases. Working conditions include exposure to various weather scenarios, reflecting the nature of delivery logistics. The Relief Driver must possess a valid CDL A license with non-excepted interstate status (where applicable), the ability to pass DOT physicals and drug tests, and a strong adherence to safety and DOT regulations.
