Job Requirements
- Hold a valid CDL A or B license
- Have a clean driving record
- Be physically able to perform loading and unloading tasks
- Possess knowledge of DOT hazardous material regulations
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be able to complete delivery-related paperwork accurately
- Be available to work local routes without overnight stays
Job Duties
- Linde drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and associated products, following a computer-generated local route to customer locations
- This position is physically active and will be responsible for loading/unloading at client sites
- Linde drivers engage with customers by responding to their needs and providing excellent customer service
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
- Continuously building your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing
- Other duties as assigned
