The role available is for a Local Delivery Driver with a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), based in Grand Rapids, MI. This position is primarily a first shift role involving the delivery of products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day. Local Delivery Drivers at Linde are responsible for handling freight with care, completing all necessary paperwork accurately, and providing top-notch customer service during deliveries. Drivers play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of product quantities and types delivered and collected, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, especially concerning hazardous materials shipment documentation. Drivers are expected to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and report any needed repairs or maintenance promptly.
