This position is part of the first shift and focuses on delivering products efficiently and safely to customers. This position demands a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage hazardous materials documentation in line with DOT regulations. The driver will typically make 10-12 stops per day, handling freight carefully, completing necessary paperwork, and fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.\n\nBesides driving, responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying needed vehicle repairs or maintenance, and maintaining compliance with safety and hazardous materials transportation requirements. Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 21 years
  • valid Class A or B CDL license
  • current hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days
  • no preventable accidents in past 2 years
  • no license suspensions or moving violations in past 2 years
  • no alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years
  • ability to pass DOT physical and medical certification
  • physical ability to push pull move and lift minimum of 75 pounds
  • high school diploma or GED
  • two years consecutive driving experience or recent truck driving certification

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • proficiency in reading and writing in English
  • two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school
  • valid Class A or B CDL
  • hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • ability to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate
  • ability to lift and move minimum of 75 pounds

Job Duties

  • deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day while touching freight completing paperwork and providing excellent customer service
  • accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
  • complete hazardous material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT regulations
  • conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • identify need for timely vehicle repairs and or maintenance
  • build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives
  • continuously build knowledge on company operations and support organizational growth
