The role of Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) based in Pittsburg, CA is a critical position within Linde's operational team. This is a first shift position offering an hourly wage of $36.25, commensurate with experience. As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of Linde’s products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day. Your duties will include handling freight, completing necessary paperwork accurately, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be expected to count and record product quantities and styles during deliveries and pickups accurately. Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is essential, particularly regarding hazardous material shipping order papers. You will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly identify any repair or maintenance needs to ensure safety and reliability. Building strong relationships and partnerships with both internal colleagues and external customers is crucial to help meet business goals and customer expectations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents license suspensions or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push pull move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Must be 21 years or older
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

- Ability to push pull move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds

Job Duties
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day while touching freight completing paperwork and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives
- Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds
