The position of Delivery Driver at Linde holds significant responsibility in managing daily delivery schedules, maintaining compliance with safety and transportation regulations, and fostering positive relationships with customers. Drivers are expected to perform an average of 10-12 stops per day while handling freight with care and completing necessary documentation accurately. Attention to detail is critical, particularly when counting and verifying product quantities and types, as well as adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, especially regarding hazardous materials. Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting highlight the role’s focus on safety and vehicle maintenance, ensuring reliability and operational continuity. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Ability to handle hazardous materials
Experience in delivery or transportation preferred
Strong physical ability to handle freight
Good communication skills
Ability to complete required documentation accurately

Job Duties

Deliver products to customers making an average of 10-12 stops per day while touching freight completing paperwork and providing excellent customer service
Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and or maintenance
Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives
Continuously build knowledge on how Linde's business operates and succeeds
