Job Requirements
- Must have one year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years and a clean driving record with no more than two convictions or accidents as defined
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 pounds, occasionally 76 to greater than 125 pounds with material handling equipment
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to work independently under pressure
- Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification
- In lieu of experience, diploma from an accredited driving school may be considered

- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 pounds and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with material handling equipment
- Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt
- Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
- Manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with customers
- Operate company-provided straight or box trucks from Airgas branch or plant locations
