The Local Delivery Driver position in Toledo, OH, is a vital role focused on the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to both external and internal business customers. The role requires operating company-provided straight or box trucks from an Airgas branch or plant, maintaining the flow of cylinders, and fostering long-lasting relationships with customers. This position is a full-time Monday through Friday day shift role that starts at a competitive pay rate of $30.35 per hour, offering a balance between work and personal life.

Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Must have Hazmat Endorsement or be willing to obtain one
- Must have minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within last five years and clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 pounds and occasionally lift over 125 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours and perform frequent bending
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure
- Must obtain forklift operator certification
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat Endorsement or willing to obtain
- Minimum one year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs and occasionally lift more than 125 pounds with equipment aid
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Must be at least 21 years or older
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt
- Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to all Airgas safety standards and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
