We are recruiting a Local Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL license in Toledo, OH. This full-time role operates on a Monday through Friday day shift schedule with a starting pay of $30.35 per hour. The position involves the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business partners, serving as a key ambassador for the Airgas brand. Using company-provided straight or box trucks from a designated Airgas branch or plant, the driver manages cylinder flow while nurturing durable relationships with customers.

Job Requirements
- Must possess valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain required
- Minimum one year Class A professional driving experience within the last five years or driving school diploma
- Clean driving record as defined by company standards
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to read and comprehend safety data sheets
- Capable of lifting between 25 and 75 pounds regularly and up to over 125 pounds with equipment
- Able to drive hazardous materials for up to 8 hours
- Able to bend frequently
- Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain
- One year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years or diploma from an accredited driving school
- Clean driving record with no more than two convictions or at-fault accidents as specified
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs and occasionally lift more with equipment
- Ability to operate forklift after obtaining certification
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure
Job Duties
- Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures
- Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
- Manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with customers
- Operate company-provided straight or box trucks safely and efficiently
