This position is for a Hazmat Driver, who will be responsible for making safe, timely, and accurate deliveries of hazardous materials while ensuring full compliance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and other applicable laws. The job provides a starting time of 7:00 am and continues until the day's tasks are completed. In this role, the Hazmat Driver will perform daily responsibilities such as planning and executing deliveries using the most efficient routes, loading and unloading vehicles while securing cargo appropriately, collecting payments, meeting all compliance regulations, conducting thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, continuously increasing product and job knowledge, and performing additional duties as assigned.
