This position is for a Local Class B Delivery Driver based in Tucker, GA, at the Atlanta, GA APG branch focused on dry-ice logistics. The role involves safely and efficiently delivering dry ice to customers, playing a critical part in maintaining the supply chain for industries including universities, laboratories, and other key sectors dependent on cold shipping supplies. The selected candidate will operate Class B liftgate vehicles, performing regular pre and post-trip inspections according to Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety checklists to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. This role requires physical stamina to handle material weighing up to 75 lbs regularly and the capacity to move up to 125 lbs with equipment. Additionally, the driver will be proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading dry ice safely.
The position offers competitive compensation at a rate of $25.00 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours per week. The weekly schedule enables employees to be home daily from Monday through Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Job Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class CDL A or B with airbrake endorsements
- Licensed and able to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements
- One year of CDL driving experience within last 5 years or certificate of completion from trucking school within last 5 years
- No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or one of each in that period
- No DUI of alcohol or controlled substances within the last 7 years
- Ability to work in a drug-free environment
- Ability to regularly lift 75lbs and move 125lbs with material handling equipment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to customer business locations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment with a focus on safety and precision
- Facilitate documentation by obtaining customer signatures and supporting accuracy of piece counts against load manifests
- Collect empty dry ice boxes for sustainable service
- Provide excellent customer service and share customer insights with Branch Manager
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle reviews according to DOT and company maintenance checklists
- Uphold and champion company policies, safety procedures, and DOT/OSHA requirements
- Ensure cargo stability prior to and during transit to maintain safety and product quality
