Clean Harbors is currently seeking a Local Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety-conscious team based in Dolton, Illinois. This position is integral to the company’s operations, focusing on local freight, waste, and product runs within the Dolton area. The role primarily involves operating a day cab with possible overnight stays depending on business requirements, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The expected workweek is 50 hours, compensated at an hourly rate of $28, with drivers typically earning between $80,000 and $110,000 annually. Additionally, a $7,500 sign-on bonus is available, alongside weekly home time to promote work-life balance.

- Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software

Job Duties
- Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles
- Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of the units
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste
- Properly secure all loads
- Placard vehicle in accordance with company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports
