Job Requirements

  • Class B license without restrictions (L, Z air brakes, G night driving, O no semi trailer)
  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts and 4 days on, 2 days off schedule
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy products
  • Willingness to adhere to union regulations and work policies

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL driver’s license
  • Proven experience operating dry van delivery vehicles
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
  • Competency with hand-held computing devices
  • Ability to follow DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
  • Physically capable of handling and organizing product inventory

Job Duties

  • Operate delivery vehicle to transport product from warehouse to accounts
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service while satisfying customer needs
  • Physically handle products and put them away in the proper place
  • Fill displays, place POS and ensure product dates are rotated properly
  • Operate hand-held computer to print invoices and perform other necessary tasks
  • Competent in using hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
  • Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure safety, legality, and security
  • Stack and sort delivered cargo
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
  • Load and unload cargo while operating cargo handling equipment
  • Maintain a driver’s log in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Submit customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
