Job Description

MedTrans is a specialized division of Medline Industries, LP, one of the leading global manufacturers and distributors of medical supplies. Medline is renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality, life-saving medical products and equipment to healthcare facilities and patients across the United States. MedTrans operates as Medline’s private fleet, consisting of over 1,900 trucks equipped with the latest technology and newer equipment to ensure reliability and safety. This extensive fleet is supported by a nationwide network of more than 50 distribution centers, allowing MedTrans to provide efficient 1-day shipping to 95 percent of the U.S. population. The company emphasizes safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction, making it a trusted partner in the healthcare logistics industry.

The role of the Class A Driver at MedTrans is a critical position responsible for transporting essential medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $29.50 per hour and focuses on local routes, allowing drivers to return home daily and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The driver is entrusted with operating Class A commercial vehicles safely and professionally, ensuring that life-saving medical shipments arrive timely and intact. Beyond the technical responsibilities, the driver serves as the face of Medline to its customers, fostering positive relationships through excellent customer service and communication.

Drivers are required to load, secure, and unload products, operate vehicles in compliance with Federal and State regulations, and maintain accurate travel and cargo logs. They are expected to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and adhere strictly to safety protocols established by Medline. This role prioritizes safety as the number one value, reinforcing the company’s commitment to employee welfare and operational excellence. MedTrans also ensures its drivers are equipped with modern trucks and necessary safety equipment to perform their duties effectively.

At Medline, employees benefit from robust professional development opportunities, as well as comprehensive benefit packages including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) plans with company match. The inclusive workplace culture promotes diversity, equity, and a sense of belonging for all employees. MedTrans drivers are more than operators; they are vital contributors to a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes and healthcare logistics. This opportunity is ideal for experienced truck drivers who value safety, reliability, and the chance to be part of a respected and growing healthcare company.
