R & J Trucking is actively seeking Local Class A CDL Pneumatic Tank Drivers to join their team. This role involves the transportation of bulk cement using pneumatic tank trailers, making sure deliveries are executed promptly and safely. One of the key benefits of this position is that drivers will have the advantage of being home every night, promoting a healthy work-life balance. With a pay range of $1,100 to $1,200 per week based on attendance and individual performance, drivers can expect competitive wages complemented by additional incentives. The company also offers a weekly minimum pay guarantee of $1,000 when program requirements are met, ensuring a stable and reliable income.

The Local Class A CDL Pneumatic Tank Driver is responsible for safely operating pneumatic tankers, loading and unloading bulk cement, and adhering strictly to safety and regulatory guidelines. Drivers benefit from having dedicated dispatchers, 24/7 staffing support, and an extensive terminal network that provides on-site maintenance and fueling services. Equipment includes late model tractors and lightweight trailers designed to maximize payloads and improve efficiency. Job Requirements

  • 1 year recent experience with Class A
  • 23 years of age
  • safe driving record and good CSA scores
  • pneumatic tanker experience preferred but not required
  • valid Class A CDL license

Job Duties

  • Operate pneumatic tank trucks to transport bulk cement safely
  • load and unload bulk cement materials according to company procedures
  • adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • maintain communication with dispatch and management
  • ensure timely deliveries while maximizing efficiency
  • comply with DOT regulations and maintain a safe driving record
