Job Description
Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) is a premier custom last-mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for select food service industry customers. Established in 2006 and headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD is a subsidiary of Golden State Foods (GSF) and serves thousands of restaurants across the United States. With over 37,000 deliveries each week originating from 25 strategically located distribution centers, QCD's dedicated fleet drives more than 40 million miles annually, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food products. Beyond logistics, QCD supports a national non-profit, the GSF Foundation, emphasizing community commitment and corporate responsibility. Known for its people-first culture, QCD fosters a dynamic and values-driven environment where employees are encouraged to treat others respectfully, uphold high standards, and contribute to shared success.
QCD is currently seeking skilled Class A CDL Drivers in Indianapolis who are passionate about more than just earning a paycheck. These local CDL drivers play a critical role as the heartbeat of QCD's supply chain by delivering essential products with precision, care, and pride. This role offers a stable, career-building opportunity with competitive wages, consistent weekly pay, and the benefit of being home daily—no layovers required. Drivers will operate diesel-powered tractor-trailers on local routes, delivering food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers. This position requires loading and unloading using hand trucks or pallet jacks in a touch-freight capacity, vehicle inspections, DOT log maintenance, and clear communication with dispatch and store personnel. The role demands flexibility to accommodate nights, weekends, and holiday shifts in a 24/7 operation, making it ideal for candidates seeking steady employment with a strong pathway for career advancement. With company-provided uniforms and work shoes, health benefits starting after just 30 days, 401(k) options, paid holidays, and vacation time, QCD offers an all-encompassing package that supports physical, financial, and professional development. This position is an excellent opportunity for those eager to drive success while thriving in a supportive, values-driven workplace environment.
