The Local CDL Delivery Driver position based in Shreveport, LA, presents an exciting opportunity to join this dynamic company. This full-time role offers a starting pay of $26 per hour, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses and referral bonuses. The position features consistent scheduling Monday through Friday, with potential on-call weekends based on business needs. As a Local CDL Delivery Driver, you will operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Your responsibilities include collecting empty cylinders from customers, recording transactions, obtaining customer signatures, and addressing inquiries to ensure satisfaction. You will perform loading and unloading tasks, conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain safety compliance, and uphold vehicle appearance and condition.
This role demands physical stamina and capability, requiring frequently lifting weights ranging from 25 to over 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment. You will spend considerable time bending, walking, standing, and driving for up to eight hours daily while transporting hazardous cargo safely and efficiently.

Job Requirements
- Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain it
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- At least 21 years of age
- Physical capability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with aid
- Ability to frequently bend, walk, stand and drive up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to handle hazardous cargo safely
- Verifiable driving experience or recently graduated from accredited school
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of verifiable Class A or B CDL driving experience within the past 5 years or recent graduate from accredited driving school
- Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement upon offer contingency
- Exceptional customer service skills and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
Job Duties
