They are currently seeking a Local CDL Delivery Driver to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT, in a full-time position offering a starting pay of $28 per hour with eligibility for quarterly bonuses. This role is vital for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of compressed and liquid gas cylinders, hard goods, and related products along designated routes. The driver operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle and is responsible for all aspects of delivery, including loading, unloading, collecting empty cylinders, transaction recording, and customer interaction. The role involves frequent physical activity such as lifting between 25 to 75 pounds, sometimes up to over 125 pounds with the help of material handling equipment, and requires stamina to bend, walk, stand, and drive for up to 8 hours daily. Safety compliance, vehicle maintenance, and professional appearance are integral parts of the job. The position offers consistent scheduling from Monday through Friday with possible alternating weekend on-call duties.

This driver role not only demands a strong sense of responsibility and customer service skills but also requires compliance with DOT regulations and a clean motor vehicle record. The candidate must have at least one year of verifiable Class A or B CDL driving experience within the past five years or be a recent graduate from an accredited driving school. A Hazmat endorsement is required or must be obtainable upon receiving an offer. Job Requirements

  • At least one year of verifiable Class A or B CDL driving experience within the past five years or recent graduate from an accredited driving school
  • Possess Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain upon offer
  • Maintain a clean motor vehicle record
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have physical capability and stamina to lift 25-75 lbs routinely and up to 125+ lbs with material handling equipment
  • Be able to frequently bend, walk, stand, and drive up to 8 hours daily handling hazardous cargo
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed gas cylinders and related products along designated routes

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections noting issues and ensuring compliance
  • Maintain a professional appearance and upkeep vehicle condition
