Handling customer interactions professionally, collecting empty cylinders, and maintaining vehicle condition are also core components of the job. The role demands a high degree of physical stamina and capability, including regularly lifting weights between 25 to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 125 pounds using material handling equipment. Driving duties can extend up to eight hours daily while managing hazardous cargo cautiously.

This position is ideal for candidates with at least one full year of verifiable CDL Class A or B driving experience within the last five years or recent graduates from an accredited driving school. A clean motor vehicle record and the ability to obtain or already possess a hazmat endorsement are required. You must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, effective time management, and proficiency in reading and understanding material safety data sheets. Working with Airgas offers the chance to be part of a supportive, diverse workplace culture that values the unique perspectives each employee brings. Airgas is proud to be an equal opportunity employer welcoming all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.

Joining Airgas means becoming part of an innovative company dedicated to sustainable product creation and safe delivery, while fostering growth and development opportunities to help you build a rewarding career in a welcoming environment where your contributions truly matter.
