The Local CDL Delivery Driver role located in Oklahoma City, OK, offers a competitive hourly pay starting at $29 with opportunities for quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday with possible alternating weekends on-call, ensuring reliable and consistent scheduling. The driver’s primary responsibility is to operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders along designated routes. This includes collecting empty cylinders from customers, recording transactions, obtaining signatures, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the vehicle.
The role requires a high degree of physical fitness, including the ability to routinely lift 25-75 pounds and more than 125 pounds with material handling assistance, as well as up to 8 hours of daily operation involving bending, walking, standing, and hazardous cargo transportation. The driver will conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor are vital as the driver acts as a primary ambassador of the Airgas brand to customers.

Job Requirements
- at least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years or recent graduate from accredited driving school
- class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement upon offer contingency
- clean motor vehicle record
- at least 21 years of age
- high physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver products with routine lifting of 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with aid of material handling equipment
- ability to work independently
- effective time management skills
- ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
Job Qualifications
