The position available at the Airgas location in Atlanta, GA, is for a CDL B Microbulk Driver with X endorsements, part of the National Carbonation Division. The role is focused on delivering CO2 products and related supplies with a schedule averaging 50 hours per week, primarily during night shifts from Monday to Friday between 12 pm and 2 pm start times. This employment opportunity offers a competitive pay of $26.50 per hour and includes working with a modern, technologically advanced fleet equipped with driver-friendly tools such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance systems, and camera technologies to enhance safety and efficiency.
In this role, the driver will be responsible for supporting the transfer of CO2 products from Airgas vehicles to customer tanks, ensuring the safety and compliance of the fleet by performing pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company maintenance standards. The Microbulk Driver will also collaborate with field service technicians in tank installations and repairs, maintaining accurate DOT and SAFECOR documentation, and ensuring timely maintenance of the route truck. This position requires physical capability to lift and handle heavy equipment, along with adherence to safety protocols to support operations that contribute to Airgas’s mission of excellence and sustainable practices.

Job Requirements
- Valid class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker and airbrake endorsements
- Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card and endorsements
- No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident
- No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances within the last seven years
- Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
- Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with aid of material handling equipment
- Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of trucking school certificate
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Support the transfer of product from the Airgas truck to the customer tank through hose hook up
- Support the safety of our fleet by reviewing vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklists
- Support the loading of Microbulk tanks and filling customer-owned Microbulk tanks as assigned
- Partner with field service technicians with CO2 tank installations and repair work to support our shared goals
- Collaborate to maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, helping our team stay accurate and compliant
- Nurture the safe working order of the route truck and ensure that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis
