Drivers will be responsible for completing 10-15 stops per day within a two-hour radius of Manassas, ensuring that food service orders are delivered efficiently to customers throughout the Metro DC area.
Successful candidates will enjoy a stable schedule that requires availability Monday through Saturday, with Sundays always off. Start times vary between 10:00 PM and 4:30 AM, requiring full flexibility. Typical shifts are scheduled for 10.5 hours but can extend up to 14 hours during peak times, with a maximum of 70 work hours per week. Compensation after training includes a component pay structure based on stops, miles, and cases handled, with a daily minimum guarantee of $320. For experienced food service drivers, a retention bonus ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 is also available during the first year to reward relevant background and dedication.
This role requires a valid CDL A license, at least six months of recent and verifiable driving experience, and a valid DOT medical card. Preference is given to drivers with experience in manual transmission vehicles and those familiar with food delivery or other physically demanding delivery tasks. Clear communication skills in English are essential, along with a clean motor vehicle record free from major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last three years. Candidates must meet all DOT and FMCSA regulations and be at least 21 years of age.
