The role available at TransForce is for a CDL A Local AM Shuttle Flatbed Shuttle Driver based in Minneapolis, MN. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $27.06 per hour and the potential to earn between $1,500 and $1,800 weekly. Employees will be driving the newest Mack Anthem trucks equipped with automatic transmissions and flatbed trailers. The job entails operating on a local, dedicated route with a focus on hauling roofing and construction materials. Drivers are expected to handle heavy equipment with tarp and strap duties requiring expertise to secure loads properly. Schedules are structured on a 5-on/2-off basis with 12-hour shifts from 4 pm to 4 am, operating within a 70-hour workweek clock in compliance with federal regulations.
Training for this position spans 2 to 4 weeks, depending on individual driver needs, including hands-on experience with flatbed equipment, chains, and tarping techniques. Hotel accommodations are provided during the training period, and pay during training varies. Additional compensation includes per diem pay of $35 per night, tarp pay of $50 per tarp, and detention or breakdown pay starting at $25 per hour after the initial 1.5 hours.
TransForce requires candidates to hold a valid CDL A license, maintain a clean work history including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and PSP, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and professional driving practices. Road testing is mandatory, and applicants should have had fewer than two jobs in the past three years. - CDL A license

- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain compliance with safety regulations
