Job Description
Petroleum Transport Co. (PTC) is a leading transportation company specializing in the safe and efficient movement of petroleum products across the southeastern United States. With terminals strategically located throughout the region, PTC prioritizes safety and quality service delivery as the foundation of its operations. The company is recognized for its commitment to driver welfare, offering competitive compensation packages and comprehensive benefits to attract and retain top talent within the trucking industry.
PTC is currently seeking local tanker truck drivers in Charleston, SC, who hold the necessary endorsements and are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards. This role is ideal for professional drivers looking to advance their careers in petroleum transportation while enjoying the benefits of a local driving job that ensures home time every day. Drivers can expect an average weekly gross pay ranging from $1,400 to $2,000, paid on a weekly basis. The company also provides a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401K plan with a 50% company match, and additional perks such as paid holidays, a uniform allowance, and a referral program.
In this role, drivers will be responsible for the transportation of hazardous petroleum materials, requiring both tanker and Hazmat endorsements. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven safety record and quality work performance. By joining PTC, drivers become part of a supportive and professional team that values their expertise and fosters career growth within the petroleum transportation sector. The local position allows drivers to maintain a steady home life while benefiting from excellent pay and robust benefits that surpass industry standards. PTC’s home-every-day opportunity means reduced time away from family and greater work-life balance compared to long-haul trucking positions.
