Job Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license Class B or Class A preferred
- Minimum 1 year of route delivery or similar driving experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Availability for early morning starts between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM
- Willingness to work home daily local routes
- Ability to comply with Department of Transportation regulations
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- 1 to 2 years of route delivery experience preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B (Class A preferred)
- Ability to read and understand English
Job Duties
- Run routes efficiently meeting or exceeding designated route times
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using hand cart and place in designated customer storage areas
- Lift push or move product weighing up to 100 pounds frequently
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Contact management for authorization when discrepancies on invoice and communicate errors or returns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities according to DOT regulations and company policies
- Assist with loading trucks palletizing product and other duties as assigned
