FreshPoint is currently hiring dedicated Local CDL Delivery Drivers who will be responsible for delivering products efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This full-time role offers local routes that allow drivers to be home daily, with early morning starts typically between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM and 10-hour route durations, ensuring drivers are home in time for dinner. The compensation package includes an average minimum annual pay of $86,000, with the potential to earn up to $92,000 based on performance and experience. As a CDL Delivery Driver at FreshPoint, you will play a vital role in the daily operations by managing routes with multiple stops, efficiently loading and unloading products, and ensuring accurate delivery to customers. Drivers will operate under a cross-dock model, picking up trucks from a nightly delivery at an assigned dock and returning empty trucks to the designated lot at the end of the route. The position requires interaction with customers, hence excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and reliability are essential. Drivers often engage in physically demanding tasks such as handling product weights up to 100 pounds, navigating ramps, stairs, and docks under various weather conditions.
