Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- one year tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- insurable to operate a vehicle
- ability to drive a tractor-trailer both day and night
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds
- ability to work overnight schedules including weekends and holidays
- compliance with DOT and food safety protocols
- ability to perform physical demands of the job
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- one year tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- ability to read, speak and write English sufficiently
- valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- skill in driving over long distances and various terrains
- ability to operate 3 axle tractor and 45-48 foot trailers
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to perform basic math functions
- ability to independently organize work activities
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart
- ensure paperwork is completed accurately including DOT logs and inspection reports
- maintain food safety protocols including temperature control and sanitary vehicle conditions
- develop and maintain good customer relationships through courteous service
- comply with all company, safety, and governmental regulations
- assist with warehouse and yard sanitation as needed
- perform other duties as assigned by management
