The available position is for a Lobby Attendant within the hotel’s housekeeping team. This role is pivotal to ensuring the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that define Rand Tower’s reputation. As the 'Heart of the House,' the Lobby Attendant maintains pristine public spaces, assists room attendants, and actively contributes to creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests. The Lobby Attendant will be responsible for engaging with guests to enhance their stay experience, collaborating with team members to maintain the resort and hotel cleanliness standards, and performing routine tasks such as walking assigned floors to collect trash and soiled linen, replenishing linen stock, and cleaning all public areas including bathrooms, lounges, and hallways. The attendant will support room attendants during intensive cleaning efforts and adhere strictly to departmental standard operating procedures.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift minimum 25 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Housekeeping experience desirable
- Neat, pleasant personality

- Ability to work on feet for an extended period
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places
- Observe conditions, detect odors
- Position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
- Operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters
- Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs
Job Duties
- Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
- Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen
- Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
- Ensure cleanliness of all public areas to include bathrooms, lounge areas and hallways
- Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when super cleaning/spring cleaning of rooms
- Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures
