Job Description
Consumer and Community Banking is a dynamic sector within the financial services industry, committed to delivering outstanding customer service and building long-lasting client relationships. The team focuses on providing wealth management and other financial solutions to a diverse community of clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of professionalism and care. As a part of this team, employees have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Excellence, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach are paramount to success within this organization.
The Lobby Receptionist role within Consumer and Community Banking - Wealth Management serves as the crucial first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees alike. This position is integral in crafting a welcoming, professional, and seamless experience from the moment individuals enter the premises. As a first impression specialist, the Lobby Receptionist not only ensures that all visitors feel valued and respected but also supports daily office operations by managing check-ins, addressing inquiries, and overseeing temporary access protocols. This role demands a polished presence, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to creating a positive, lasting impression.
Working as a Lobby Receptionist offers a unique platform for professional growth and skill enhancement within a results-oriented team. The position requires collaboration across multiple departments and regions, providing an enriching work experience that promotes operational excellence and continuous improvement. Flexibility is key, as the role may necessitate early mornings or late evenings to accommodate business needs, ensuring that the office environment remains both welcoming and secure throughout the day.
Responsibilities also include adhering strictly to building and security procedures, responding promptly to potential safety issues, and employing a proactive 'see something, say something' approach to maintain a healthy and secure environment. Beyond the functional tasks, this role involves participating in service-improvement projects that elevate team standards and contribute to a superior overall visitor and employee experience.
Candidates joining this team must possess a minimum of two years of relevant client-facing experience, preferably in high-end reception, concierge, hospitality, or similar service-oriented roles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and the ability to handle multiple priorities while remaining composed are essential. The role is strictly in-office, requiring presence five days a week, which underscores the importance of commitment and flexibility. For those interested in contributing to a vibrant, people-centered working environment while advancing their careers, this opportunity represents a highly rewarding choice.
