The Food and Beverage Server position at The Ritz-Carlton Boston is a full-time, non-management role that plays a critical part in providing a first-class dining experience to guests. This role is tip eligible and offers a pay rate of $17.25 per hour. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for serving food courses and alcoholic beverages in line with event types and service standards, ensuring that guest needs and preferences are communicated accurately to the kitchen and other relevant staff. You will interact directly with guests by answering menu questions, accommodating special dietary requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction with every food and beverage service offered. Utilizing the MICROS point-of-sale system, you will accurately record orders and process payments while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

In addition to these duties, the role requires adherence to all company policies, safety protocols, and security procedures. You will be expected to report any unsafe conditions or incidents to management and participate in safety training and certification programs. The physical demands of the position include prolonged periods of standing, walking, and the ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. This active job also involves tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and working on diverse surfaces including stairs and service ramps.
