We are currently seeking a seasoned Lobby Lounge Bar Supervisor with expertise in luxury bar operations to join our dynamic Food and Beverage team. Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage and the Beverage Director, this role involves leading the daily operations of the lobby lounge bar, encompassing staff supervision, inventory management, and the delivery of five-star service standards. The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in mentoring servers, bartenders, and support staff while collaborating with culinary teams to curate and enhance menu offerings aligned with current market trends and guest preferences.
The role requires exceptional leadership to maintain an atmosphere of excellence in beverage quality and guest satisfaction. Managing guest inquiries professionally and resolving complaints promptly is essential to exceed guest expectations consistently. The Supervisor will also oversee the upkeep and organization of the bar area, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards. Furthermore, the position entails collaborating across resort departments, including culinary and guest services, to foster a cohesive guest experience and identify revenue growth opportunities.
This position demands a hands-on approach to implementing standard operating procedures and service protocols, supporting team development through effective training programs. Flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet operational needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a luxury hotel or resort lobby bar and/or coffee shop environment
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- strong organizational and time-management skills
- comprehensive knowledge of bar operations and expertise in a wide variety of liquors

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a luxury hotel or resort lobby bar and/or coffee shop environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy service periods or high-profile events
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comprehensive knowledge of bar operations and expertise in a wide variety of liquors
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- additional education or certification in hospitality management or related field is a plus
Job Duties
- Supervising and mentoring servers, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring they deliver impeccable service and adhere to resort standards
- Overseeing all aspects of lobby bar operations, including staffing, inventory management, ordering, and stocking, to maintain high-quality service and uphold brand standards
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings, ensuring they reflect current trends and guest preferences
- Monitoring beverage quality and presentation, providing feedback and guidance to ensure consistency and excellence in drink preparation
- Managing guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues to their satisfaction
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the lobby bar, including bar tops, equipment, and seating areas, in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assisting in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, service protocols, and training materials to maintain consistency and excellence in service
- Collaborating with other resort departments, such as food and beverage, culinary, and guest services, to enhance the overall guest experience and drive revenue opportunities
