Your ability to anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to inquiries, and maintain a clean, safe environment is essential to your success in this role.
You will be responsible for carrying out various duties that ensure the lobby bar operates effectively and guests have an enjoyable experience. This includes accurate cash handling and drawer management, adherence to local health department guidelines, and maintaining detailed knowledge of all departmental policies and equipment usage, such as espresso machines. You will work cohesively with your coworkers as part of a dynamic team aiming to exceed guest expectations in a hospitality setting.
This opportunity is well suited for individuals with excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality service, and the ability to remain calm and problem-solve during busy periods. Candidates should be comfortable working in various physical conditions including standing for extended periods and handling items up to 50 pounds. The position promotes a friendly, respectful workplace where teamwork, confidentiality, and guest privacy are prioritized. Entry-level education requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and experience in hospitality or food service is beneficial but not mandatory.
Overall, the Lobby Barista role offers a chance to join a reputable hospitality environment where your contributions directly impact a guest's experience and satisfaction. You will develop your customer service and beverage preparation skills, learn about hotel services and local attractions, and grow within a supportive team that values quality, efficiency, and positive guest interactions.
