The Lobby Bar Server role at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is a dynamic position focused on providing outstanding guest service within the restaurant setting. The primary responsibility of the Lobby Bar Server is to serve food and beverage to guests while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism. This role requires pre-setting the restaurant, managing side workstations, clearing tables during and after meals, and properly storing equipment at end of each shift. The server is expected to courteously handle all guest requests in accordance with company standards to ensure a pleasant and memorable dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for guest service, a keen knowledge of food and beverage, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

In this role, the server will greet and seat guests, take and deliver food and beverage orders, provide menu recommendations, and upsell items to enhance the dining experience. The server will also assist with guest requests and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant by efficiently setting up and closing the premises. Compliance with the company’s drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy is mandatory, reflecting Rosen Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to a healthy workplace.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years experience in serving at upscale restaurants, hotels, resorts, lounges, or other high-volume food and beverage environments. They should demonstrate strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, spirits, and classic cocktails, combining this expertise with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests, management, and colleagues. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and handling cash or credit transactions accurately is essential. This role requires the ability to multitask efficiently and perform well under pressure during busy periods. Candidates must also adhere to responsible alcohol service practices and local and state regulations.

Flexible availability is required, as the schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds infrequently. Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory for this position.
