The Housekeeping and Laundry team member plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our public and employee areas throughout the resort. This full-time, non-management position focuses on the meticulous cleaning of showers, bathrooms, glass surfaces, and floors using designated chemical products and specialized equipment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs and potential hazards. The employee will also be responsible for dusting surfaces, emptying waste containers, inspecting furniture for damage, maintaining lighting, and placing safety signs as needed to reduce traffic and ensure guest safety.

Working as part of the housekeeping team at Gaylord Hotels means contributing to a seamless guest experience by ensuring that common areas and employee spaces remain spotless and inviting. The role necessitates collaboration with other departments for urgent repairs and prompt response to guest requests, demonstrating strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Physical demands include the ability to reach above the head, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift or move objects up to 55 pounds, often requiring mobility in confined or challenging environments.
