The role of a Lobby Ambassador at Hyatt is a vital position responsible for shaping guests’ first impressions upon entering the hotel. As the initial point of contact, the Lobby Ambassador warmly greets guests and visitors, offering directions and detailed information about the hotel’s services and amenities to ensure a smooth and positive arrival experience. This role plays an essential part in enhancing the overall guest journey by maintaining a present and professional demeanor in the lobby area, answering queries about the hotel and local surroundings, and coordinating with various departments such as concierge, bell staff, and security to facilitate flawless front office operations. The Ambassador must also identify and recognize VIP and loyal guests, providing personalized greetings that contribute to the company’s reputation for exceptional hospitality.

This seasonal position requires standing and walking for most of the shift, which may include early morning, afternoon, weekend, or holiday schedules, with shift times generally between 7 AM and 12 PM. The hourly wage for this role is competitive at $18.50 per hour, and the seasonal term extends through September 5th, 2026. Adherence to Forbes standards for service excellence is mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, exhibit a professional appearance, and demonstrate the ability to remain calm and courteous in a bustling environment. Job Duties

  • Maintain an active presence in the lobby, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and organized environment
  • Support front office operations by coordinating with concierge, bell staff, and security when necessary
  • Recognize VIPs and loyal guests, offering personalized greetings
  • Monitor lobby traffic and communicate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth guest flow
  • Assist with crowd control during peak periods, events, or large group arrivals
  • Maintain professional appearance and follow hotel grooming standards at all times
