With a unique and diverse portfolio that spans full-service and focused hotels located in major cities, Sonesta encompasses more than 1000 properties across eight countries. The company prides itself on combining exceptional hospitality with a human touch — delivering service filled with passion, loyalty with purpose, and experiences that genuinely connect with guests. Sonesta's footprint features owned, managed, and franchised properties that place the company everywhere its customers want to be. The core philosophy of the enterprise is encapsulated in its motto, 'Together We Thrive,' emphasizing quality, value, and remarkable hospitality in every guest interaction and stay.

The role of the Lobby Ambassador at Sonesta International Hotels centers on creating an exceptional first impression for guests upon their arrival. This position is vital as it sets the tone for the entire guest experience through attentive and warm welcoming and effective management of the lobby environment. The Lobby Ambassador monitors lobby traffic and guest queues to minimize wait times, ensuring smooth and efficient service flow while assisting guests with their needs. The scope of responsibilities includes aiding in concierge, bell, and front desk services. Lobby Ambassadors guide guests, answer queries on hotel amenities and local attractions, coordinate travel plans, assist with luggage, facilitate transportation such as taxis, and manage room check-ins.

This position demands passion and engagement in hospitality, reflecting Sonesta's high standards of guest service. The Lobby Ambassador is expected to master the 'GUEST' model of service—greet warmly, use eye contact and guest names, anticipate and fulfill needs, own problem resolution, and express gratitude. They also foster strong professional relationships with colleagues to support positive team dynamics. Candidates must be familiar with hotel software systems like Opera and demonstrate excellent communication skills and professional appearance. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various tasks that involve mobility and manual handling.

Sonesta offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid vacation and sick days, employee discounts, educational assistance, paid parental leave, and multiple insurance options including life, disability, accident, and critical illness coverage. The company values diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants are encouraged to complete the full application process to be considered. This role ensures that every guest receives extraordinary attention and hospitality from the moment they enter the hotel lobby until departure.
