We currently have an immediate opening for an Outbound Operation Supervisor at our Portland, Oregon Service Center. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $70,000 per year, working Monday through Friday with various shifts available. The role centers on overseeing dock and dispatch operations, ensuring efficient freight handling, and managing personnel including drivers and freight handlers. As a Loader Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining safety compliance and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Loader Supervisor role requires someone with proven leadership capabilities who can effectively coordinate daily operations, manage scheduling, and ensure freight is handled according to quality standards. You will be a key player in dispatching less-than-truckload (LTL) freight loads promptly to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Knowledge of local geography and previous experience with LTL leadership are highly valued. Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are essential to success in this role.
