Live Nation Entertainment is recruiting a passionate, motivated, and driven sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit for a key sales role within their team. This role demands resourcefulness, innovation, forward thinking, and commitment to meeting ambitious financial goals. The position focuses on driving revenue growth by aggressively meeting individual sales quotas, tracking financial performance per market segment—such as convention, association, incentive, tour & travel, social, local, corporate, SMERF, and destination management companies (DMCs)—and assisting in the creation of annual sales plans.
In this role, the successful candidate will consistently meet and exceed sales targets, maintain and build a comprehensive client database, engage actively with various community and professional organizations, and uphold Live Nation’s high standards of customer service and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing inquiries efficiently, executing contract negotiations, generating proposals and special event orders, and maintaining accurate event and financial records. Strong competency in using specialized software tools like Caterease, Cendyn, Exact Target, Rome, and Hoovers is required.
Additional duties involve developing sales strategies, supporting promotional campaigns, attending industry trade shows and networking events, and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction. The role demands solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and event operations, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills to foster positive relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
Live Nation offers competitive benefits, including comprehensive health coverage, generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, career development opportunities, and perks designed to support the overall well-being and success of their staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with hospitality industry expertise, particularly in catering and social event markets, who is eager to join a globally recognized leader in the live entertainment industry and contribute to memorable experiences for millions of fans worldwide.
