Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years' experience in a senior operations role
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in venue operations and facility management
- Ability to manage multiple departments and large teams
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial oversight
- Experience working with local authorities and public officials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and incident investigations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven senior leader with strong management, organizational, and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of venue operations, facility management, and large-scale event coordination
- Minimum of two years' experience in a senior operations role (e.g., Operations Manager, House Manager, or comparable leadership position)
- Experience managing multiple departments and large teams, including Security, Ticket Takers, Ushers, Guest Experience, Parking, and Merchandising
- Strong experience interacting with police, public officials, and local authorities
- Acts as a company and facility representative alongside the General Manager in community, municipal, and political matters
- Responsible for operational budgeting, financial oversight, and vendor/contractor management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Workday or other timekeeping systems is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-department initiatives
Job Duties
- Oversees all facility operations with leadership responsibility for the Operations Manager and broader operations team
- Directs multiple departments including Parking, Merchandise, Guest Experience (VIP/Ambassador), Scheduling/Payroll, and Onboarding
- Owns operational budgeting, including repairs and maintenance and venue supply expenses
- Partners with Assistant General Manager on annual budget planning and financial performance
- Leads vendor management, contract oversight, and third-party coordination
- Oversees facility maintenance strategy and ensures optimal operating condition of all equipment and infrastructure
- Manages high-level incident investigations, including escalations and formal proceedings if needed
- Owns payroll approval and labor oversight across departments
- Establishes and maintains key municipal and external relationships (police, fire, city, etc.)
- Ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements, reporting, and company policies
- Drives recruiting strategy, workforce planning, and training programs across departments
- Ensures operational excellence, safety standards, and overall guest experience at scale
