Live Nation is currently seeking Regional Assistant Box Office Managers to support ticketing operations across various concert venues in the United States. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth ticketing processes at diverse locations, requiring outstanding organizational abilities and exceptional interpersonal skills to interface professionally with management, partners, clients, and event guests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both efficiency and accuracy in high-pressure environments, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Experience with multiple ticketing software platforms, effective staff management, and stellar guest relations are essential for success in this role.

The Regional Assistant Box Office Manager serves as a key liaison for ticketing, working closely with Box Office Managers and other venue personnel to oversee the daily ticketing operations. Responsibilities encompass training and supervising box office staff, ensuring compliance with ticketing policies and procedures, fostering positive working environments, and addressing customer service matters to guarantee an exceptional experience for all guests. The role also involves collaborating with internal departments and external event teams to handle event programming, ticket holds, reporting, and ticket scanning, facilitating comprehensive event management.

Travel may be required, reflecting the multiple venue locations that this position supports. Candidates must be flexible with work schedules, accommodating days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to align with event timing. Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in box office or ticketing management
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Appreciation and respect for diverse cultures and artistic expressions
  • Hands-on experience in live event operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Proven experience in box office or ticketing management

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in live event operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of ticketing systems, especially Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager, and the TM1 product suite
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational abilities, including prioritization, multitasking, and time management
  • Professional communication skills and email etiquette

Job Duties

  • Serve as a ticketing contact for events at the venue(s) locations assigned
  • Develop strong working relationships with Live Nation promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and affiliated partners
  • Partner with Box Office Managers on training, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision of Box Office personnel
  • Partner with Box Office Managers in ensuring Box Office staff adheres to the company’s ticket operations policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Box Office Managers, internal departments and external event personnel to ensure all ticketing needs are addressed
  • Partner with Box Office Managers in nightly Box Office operations during events (Ticket Sales, Reporting, ticket scanning, etc.)
  • Create a positive and collaborative working environment and maintain staff morale
