As part of this dynamic company, the Production Manager role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless technical and operational execution of concerts and events at venues operated by Live Nation. This position is responsible for coordinating all on-stage and backstage activities, managing show settlements, and handling the technical aspects to guarantee high-quality live entertainment experiences. The role demands a hands-on, customer-focused approach towards artist and client service, emphasizing adherence to time schedules, sound regulations, and cost efficiency.

The Production Manager will act as the liaison between touring clients or artists and the venue’s internal production team, advancing all necessary presale technical information including production requirements, rider specifications, and staging or capacity alterations. This role also involves managing relationships with local vendors and contractors to ensure the provision of stagehands, security, equipment rentals, and other essential labor, consistently prioritizing quality and reliability while optimizing costs.

On event days, the Production Manager oversees operations from load-in through load-out, ensuring smooth concert or private event execution. They handle show accounting and settlements, including payments to artists and vendors, while keeping a vigilant eye on labor costs and budget adherence. Managing approved subcontractors and third-party vendors is also a key responsibility to assure operational safety, efficiency, and success. Additionally, the role includes onboarding and training production staff to maintain readiness and compliance with best practices.

This challenging role requires a motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, loud, and sometimes stressful environment. The Production Manager must be flexible with a schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential, alongside the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. The role calls for a candidate with a proactive, 'roll up the sleeves' attitude, capable of making clear decisions even under pressure. Technical proficiency in audio, lighting, video, electrical, and staging, plus experience with artist hospitality, will greatly contribute to success in this position.

Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting (up to 75 lbs) using proper techniques, and tolerance of loud noise. The ability to wear a radio earpiece during shifts is required. Live Nation prioritizes equal employment opportunities and commitments to diversity, including accommodating individuals with disabilities and offering fair hiring practices. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, mental health support, paid time off, 401(k) matching, career development programs, and much more.
