Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
  • 2-3 years experience as a Box Office manager or representative including management level work experience
  • strong knowledge of customer service, computer operations, and accounting/cash management procedures
  • understanding of ticketing systems including Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager, and the TM1 product suite
  • previous experience managing season ticket and ancillary products such as VIP Parking, Club and premium hospitality offerings
  • leadership ability including motivation, organization, delegation, problem solving, communication, and staff engagement
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • ability to work evening and weekend hours as required
  • detail-oriented with strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Serve as the main ticketing contact for all events at assigned venue(s)
  • Develop strong relationships with promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and partners
  • Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of Box Office personnel
  • Ensure adherence to ticket operations policies and procedures
  • Organize and oversee nightly Box Office operations during events
  • Create a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues proactively
  • Build and maintain events within ticketing software
  • Assist with event programming, reporting, ticket holds, and orders
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Talent, artist management, and labels
  • Monitor ticket inventory
  • Work with Pricing team to maximize ticket revenue
  • Partner with Ancillary Product team and Venue General Manager
  • Ensure ADA compliant ticketing practices
  • Maintain accurate Box Office accounting records
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling policies
  • Perform daily safe reconciliation and prepare deposits
  • Prepare Box Office settlement reports
  • Participate in event settlements as needed
  • Monitor ticketing software and hardware
  • Embrace new ticketing technology
  • Keep current with ticketing trends
  • Attend ticketing meetings and conferences
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
