The Talent Buyer role at Neste Live! within the Fairs & Festivals Division calls for a passionate, driven, and innovative individual who possesses deep expertise in the country music industry and live event management. This full-time position focuses on forging and maintaining robust industry relationships, managing artist bookings, and providing dedicated support to clients in the fairs and festivals space throughout the talent buying lifecycle. As part of a team committed to creating unforgettable experiences, the Talent Buyer negotiates contracts, researches emerging talent, coordinates show logistics, and helps deliver seamless event execution. This role also involves analyzing market trends to recommend strategic talent selections while using booking platforms like ROME to manage internal data and event documentation.
Candidates should be adept at working in fast-paced, client-facing environments and willing to travel occasionally for onsite event support. The ideal hire will bring at least three years of experience in live entertainment or talent buying, preferably with background in country music or festival booking, strong negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with artist teams and agencies. Preferred qualifications also include existing relationships in the fairs and festivals industry and a working knowledge of marketing strategies for live events.

Job Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists’ teams, agents, publicists, and clients in the fairs and festivals space
- Negotiate client contracts, artist offers, deal points, and terms
- Research and recommend up-and-coming talent based on market trends and artist availability
- Serve as a service agreement facilitator and ensure proper documentation and execution
- Manage, input and update internal systems, including ROME, and show folders with accurate and current event data
- Provide marketing recommendations and consult to clients as requested
- Coordinate advance calls and show logistics to ensure smooth execution
- Attend select events onsite as a Neste Live! service representative
- Review invoices and confirm payment
- Participate in post-event reviews and provide input on future planning
- Stay current on industry pricing and booking trends in the fair and festival space
- Delegate tasks to the Talent Buyer Assistant as appropriate and oversee follow-through
