As a Production Manager at Live Nation Entertainment, you will be at the heart of ensuring flawless execution of concerts and events across various venues, including theaters, clubs, stadiums, and arenas. This role demands a highly organized and skilled professional who will manage all technical, logistical, and operational details on and behind the stage. Responsibilities range from coordinating between tour/private productions and venues to ensuring shows run smoothly from load-in to load-out. With emphasis on customer service, time management, sound compliance, and budget control, the Production Manager plays a critical role in producing safe and successful live events. Your role will include managing show settlements, processing artist and vendor payments, and representing Live Nation at various events to uphold production standards and business unit responsibilities.
This position requires close collaboration with local contractors, vendors, touring clients, and venue production teams to support requirements such as stagehands, security, and equipment rentals. The Production Manager must have an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating resourcefulness and innovation to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. The role involves frequent travel within the Southwest market and requires flexibility with work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements
- Four plus years experience in production management, promotion, or event coordination
- General knowledge of venue operations preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Self motivated with a hands on attitude
- Willingness to travel within the Southwest market
- Flexible with work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work under pressure and remain even tempered
- Capable of making clear concise decisions with limited information
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent references
- Bi lingual Spanish preferred
Job Qualifications
- Four plus years' experience as production manager, promoter rep, or event coordinator
- General knowledge of venue operations preferred
- BA in related field preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Self motivated with a hands on style
- Ability to travel within the Southwest market
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Computer proficiency in Windows applications
- Excellent references
- Bi lingual Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Coordinate between tour/private production and venues
- Advance and obtain presale technical information including production needs, rider requirements, staging, and capacity changes
- Interface with local contractors, vendors, tours, clients renting Live Nation venues and venue production teams for show requirements
- Manage day of show concert/private events from load in to load out focusing on customer service, schedule adherence, sound restrictions and cost containment
- Perform show settlement and process artist and vendor payments as needed
- Represent Live Nation at scheduled shows for business unit, production and show settlement responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage approved subcontractors and third party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful events
