Job Description

Four Seasons is a renowned luxury hospitality company recognized worldwide for its commitment to exceptional service and unforgettable guest experiences. Powered by passionate individuals who strive to push themselves to new heights, Four Seasons creates an environment where every team member is respected and valued. This commitment to a world-class employee experience lays the foundation for delivering genuine luxury with heart across every property globally. The company culture thrives on connecting individuals, whether guests, residents, or team members, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates diversity and inclusion as core strengths. Four Seasons' philosophy revolves around treating others as one wishes to be treated themselves, creating lifelong impressions for anyone who interacts with their brand.

Located in the heart of downtown Austin along the scenic Lady Bird Lake, the Four Seasons Hotel Austin embodies a unique blend of the city’s eclectic and cool vibe coupled with refined lakeside tranquility. With 286 guest rooms and suites, two award-winning dining venues, a luxury spa, and expansive event space totaling over 17,000 square feet, the hotel stands as one of Austin’s longest-standing luxury destination hotels. Guests visit repeatedly, drawn to legendary service, elegant accommodations, a dynamic food and beverage scene, and engaging seasonal activations that celebrate local culture.

The Live Oak Bar Manager role within the Four Seasons Hotel Austin Food & Beverage Team is an exciting leadership position overseeing the overall customer experience and satisfaction in the Live Oak bar. This role demands a proactive manager who can inspire and support their team, facilitating training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as necessary. Due to the hotel's 24/7 operation throughout the year, versatility in scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, extensive knowledge of wine and beverage programs, and prior experience working within a food and beverage context, ideally with proficiency in MICROS point-of-sale systems.

Being part of Four Seasons offers a vibrant culture that recognizes both familiar and new faces with warmth and respect. The company is invested in the growth and success of its employees, providing comprehensive benefits and multiple opportunities for career advancement. The position requires necessary certifications such as TABC and Food Handlers, along with US work authorization unless the applicant is already a manager at another Four Seasons location. Bonuses include valuable perks like complimentary medical, dental, and vision insurance after just 30 days, employee meals prepared by top culinary teams, discounted transportation options, and much more. The Four Seasons continues to be a beacon of luxury hospitality, and this Live Oak Bar Manager role plays a crucial part in sustaining the brand's esteemed reputation in the vibrant Austin community.
