Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a leading restaurant group known for its heartfelt commitment to fostering a culture where the focus is placed on serving the person who is serving the guest. Rooted in the principle that how team members are treated in the kitchen should mirror the respect and care extended to guests in the dining room, Rocket Farm Restaurants ensures a supportive, ethical, and inclusive work environment. This philosophy nurtures dignity and respect amongst all employees, creating a positive atmosphere that resonates throughout the restaurant, from kitchen staff to front-of-house team members.

Among its vibrant establishments, Little Rey stands out as a lively, ultra-casual dining experience inspired by Northern Mexican cuisine. As a sister restaurant to Superica, Little Rey highlights wood-roasted "chicken al carbon" as its signature dish. The venue thrives on its energetic backdrop and authentic flavors, attracting guests who appreciate both quality food and a dynamic dining atmosphere.

The General Manager role at Little Rey offers a unique opportunity to lead the restaurant's operations with an open, approachable, and positive leadership style. Serving as the central figure for all operational aspects, the General Manager is responsible for steering the team towards excellence by managing restaurant flow, seating arrangements, and menu adjustments, as well as overseeing recruitment, training, and staff development. This role requires foresight in anticipating and addressing guests' needs to exceed satisfaction continuously.

With a preferred background of 10 years in progressive restaurant experience, including a minimum of five years in senior management, the ideal candidate will inspire and motivate a diverse team through daily meetings and a firm commitment to fostering an educational and supportive work environment. This position demands a capable leader who balances operational control with compassionate team guidance, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience.

In return, Little Rey offers a competitive salary range from $85,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience. The compensation package also includes generous quarterly bonuses that reward performance. Full benefits eligibility begins after 30 days of employment, providing comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.

Employees at Rocket Farm Restaurants enjoy a wealth of additional benefits and support programs designed to promote work-life balance and career development. These include a culture that champions ethical practices, dynamic performance-based raises, and promotions that recognize and reward contributions. Paid time off is supplemented with childbirth recovery leave and parental leave, supporting employees through critical life events.

Long-term retention is encouraged with significant bonuses, and time off is granted on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Team members also benefit from a 50% discount across all Rocket Farm Restaurants located in cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park.

Moreover, Rocket Farm University offers specialized leadership training and personalized development support, empowering employees to advance their careers. Employee-led mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees further illustrate Rocket Farm's commitment to an engaging and responsive workplace.

Rocket Farm Restaurants is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to upholding federal employment laws and ensuring fair treatment for all applicants. Candidates interested in joining this dynamic, innovative, and heartfelt group of unique individuals are encouraged to apply and become part of a team where service to one another is paramount alongside exemplary guest service.
